It's May Arts + Lawn Fawn week = Day 2! We are teaming up with May Arts for the 2nd day to bring you some fun projects! So after you check out this post, make sure to head on over to the May Arts blog! Oh, and there just may be a giveaway at the end of this post, too! :)
Tiffany created an upcycled boy baby shower center piece using some trendy May Arts twill paired with stamped bottle wrappers using Teeny Tiny Backdrops. I love how she used her electric die-cutting machine to make the 3-D clouds and rocket embellishments! It's amazing what you can do with old soda bottles!
Chari's card is so lovely with her use of the feminine lace and rosette ribbons! I especially love her twill leaves! Note how she only used half the butterfly image from Flutter By to give the illusion of a flying butterfly?! AMAZING!
Now, for the giveaway! We are giving away a HUGE spool of May Arts ribbon of you choice every day to one lucky commenter!
With Summer's arrival, are you helping to make any special party decorations, invitations, or favors!? I would love to hear what you're making!
Don't forget to visit the May Arts Blog as well! They have a giveaway and some AWESOME inspiration there too :)
Have an amazing day,

ReplyDeleteMy latest project was just finished yesterday. I made 13 discs beginning with "just born" to 12 months (using Lawn Fawn stamps) and attached them with ribbons. We're hanging them up on the wall and displaying a picture of my granddaughter for each month of her first year! Her birthday is a week from today.

ReplyDeleteFabulous projects!
ReplyDeletehi!
ReplyDeletefor my summer decorations I take some cans (for example Coke cans)and I draw some lines vertically from the top to the bottom (leaving 1 cm from the edges) all along the circumference (1 cm distance from one to the nex one).
Then i cut along them. I push and turn a little the top of the can to the bottom. I paint them and I put inside the can a tea light candle and so I create something like a "lunar light".
I love May Arts ribbon!
ReplyDeleteGreat project ideas! This summer I will be doing a lot of scrapping and I will be making some fun things for my brother's 50th bday celebration...some of which might not be so nice!

ReplyDeleteSuch sweet projects!! As for me, I am "trying" to organize my photos AND get them printed and developed to actually get to begin scrapbooking. I am so far behind!! Having 3 cameras and 2 computers, makes it so slow and tedious! My goal is to start from the last month and work backwards. LOL! Not so much thinking that I will get caught up but it will be fun!
ReplyDeleteNothing for me. We're not big party people.
ReplyDeleteThose soda bottles are so cute! I may have to plan a party just so I can make some.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute projects. The only decorations planned will be for my sons' combined birthday parties - Legos, Star Wars, Hot Wheels - any combo of those 3 depending on their mood!
ReplyDeleteMy birthday is near the end of the month, so I'm going to make invitations for it. I could just call, text, email, or facebook my friends to invite them, but this is a chance for me to papercraft, so I can't resist doing so! :D
